ARTICLE: Recline!

Haha, I love this! And it is so true. For the longest time I've felt the pressure of just giving up who you are to impress and to do more. But the truth is, we are better workers when we are full from within and well rested. Draining our energies results in costly mistakes and lack of happiness. Why can't we have both? I think for too long the belief is that you have one or the other: success or happiness. This might be true in a more corporate environment. But I believe that we must strive to have both and to have it all.

But none of that is possible without balance. And balance comes from moderation and a mindfulness of the bigger picture. We must strive to have success in all areas of our lives, as well as to measure success in a new way. Success should mean doing a good job, and being happy and healthy while doing it. Success should mean setting realistic goals and being able to meet them. Success should not be setting unrealistic goals and killing yourself to meet them.
